An urban and regional planner, Nicole is a leader in the fields of climate change planning, strategic planning and community and stakeholder engagement.
Nicole has played leadership and specialist roles in numerous climate change adaptation planning around South Australia. Her combination of expertise means she understands the nexus between the planning system and climate change impacts. Nicole is able to convert this knowledge to planning policy that gives effect to climate change mitigation and adaptation. These skills and experience are equally applied to her work in Natural Resources Management.
Much of Nicole’s work involves synthesising large volumes of technical, scientific and other information with conceptual rigour. In combination with innovative community engagement practice centred on asking lots of questions that enliven participants, the results are clarity of direction that others may struggle to achieve.
